WaversClub is a digital ecosystem operated by Witco Wavers Ltd that enables people to establish professional and personal identities, showcase capabilities, connect with others, collaborate, participate in communities, develop ideas, discover opportunities, and create economic and social value.
By creating, accessing, or using a WaversClub account, users agree to these Terms of Use and the other applicable WaversClub policies. These Terms form part of the contractual framework governing use of the platform.
The minimum age for individual participation on WaversClub is 15 years old. Users must provide accurate information during registration and must not misrepresent their age or identity. WaversClub may provide different experiences and safeguards based on a user's age.
Users aged 15–17 may participate in WaversClub's professional, educational, creative, community, and collaboration ecosystem, subject to enhanced safety restrictions. They may create public-facing professional or portfolio-oriented profiles, but certain profile information, discovery functionality, communications, and contact mechanisms may be restricted for safety. Users aged 15–17 may directly message other users aged 15–17 where the platform permits such communication. They must not use the platform to circumvent age-based restrictions.
Users aged 18 and above may access the adult experience of WaversClub subject to these Terms and the applicable safety rules.
Businesses, institutions, companies, communities, nonprofits, and other organizations may create organizational accounts where supported. WaversClub may require verification before granting verified organizational status. Verification does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, certification, or representation that every claim made by an organization is accurate.
Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and keeping authentication credentials secure. WaversClub may require additional verification where reasonably necessary for safety, security, fraud prevention, organizational verification, or platform integrity.
WaversClub allows users to create profiles reflecting areas such as skills, professions, industries, educational background, qualifications, interests, projects, portfolios, collaboration interests, professional experience, communities, and achievements. Users remain responsible for the accuracy of information they provide. WaversClub does not guarantee that a user's qualifications, employment history, identity, professional claims, portfolio, or representations are accurate.
WaversClub is designed to facilitate networking, collaboration, project development, professional discovery, community participation, idea development, opportunities, knowledge sharing, and economic participation. Users are responsible for independently evaluating people, organizations, projects, opportunities, and claims encountered through the platform. WaversClub does not guarantee that a connection will result in employment, investment, partnership, funding, business, income, or any other outcome.
WaversClub may provide text messaging, voice communication, file sharing, and other communication functionality. Video messaging or video calling is not assumed to be available unless explicitly implemented. Users must comply with all applicable safety, privacy, child-protection, content, and communication rules. Age-based communication restrictions are mandatory platform controls.
Users retain ownership of content they lawfully create and submit to WaversClub. By submitting content, users grant WaversClub a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, moderate, secure, and otherwise use the content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, protect, and improve the service. This license does not transfer ownership of the user's underlying intellectual property. Users must have the necessary rights to submit content.
Users must not use WaversClub to:
Organizations must provide accurate organizational information. Where verification is available, WaversClub may verify organizational identity or relevant information. Verified status may be withdrawn where information becomes inaccurate, misleading, fraudulent, or otherwise inconsistent with platform requirements.
Where WaversClub provides paid services, memberships, products, subscriptions, or other transactions, applicable pricing and payment terms will be presented to users before payment. WaversClub may use third-party payment providers including Flutterwave. Third-party payment providers may impose their own terms and privacy practices.
WaversClub applies enhanced safety measures to users aged 15–17. The platform may restrict direct communication between adults and minors, adult discovery of minors, sensitive profile information, location information, private contact information, certain recommendation mechanisms, certain community participation, and other interactions presenting elevated risk. Users must not attempt to bypass these protections.
WaversClub may use automated systems, human moderation, reports, investigations, safety reviews, and other mechanisms to enforce platform policies.
Use of personal information is governed by the WaversClub Privacy & Cookie Policy. Users should review that policy before using the platform.
WaversClub may integrate third-party technologies, payment providers, authentication providers, analytics services, infrastructure providers, communications services, mapping services, storage services, or other external services. Third-party services may have independent terms and privacy policies.
WaversClub's software, branding, interfaces, trademarks, logos, original designs, systems, documentation, and other proprietary materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except where expressly permitted, users may not copy, reverse engineer, exploit, reproduce, or commercially misuse WaversClub intellectual property.
WaversClub may experience outages, maintenance periods, bugs, security incidents, third-party failures, or service interruptions. WaversClub does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
WaversClub may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce policies, protect users, protect minors, prevent fraud, respond to security threats, comply with legal obligations, protect the platform, or address serious violations. Users may request account closure subject to applicable retention obligations.
Where an enforcement action is eligible for appeal, users may submit an appeal through available platform mechanisms. Appeals may be reviewed by authorized personnel or systems. The availability and scope of appeal processes may depend on the nature and seriousness of the action.
WaversClub is a platform for connection, collaboration, community, professional identity, and opportunity discovery. WaversClub does not guarantee identity accuracy, professional qualifications, business legitimacy, project success, employment, investment returns, income, partnership outcomes, personal safety in every interaction, or uninterrupted availability. Users are responsible for exercising appropriate judgment.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, WaversClub and Witco Wavers Ltd shall not be responsible for losses arising from matters outside reasonable platform control, third-party conduct, user conduct, inaccurate user-provided information, or interactions between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, users may be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from their unlawful conduct, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, or misuse of the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be addressed through applicable Nigerian dispute-resolution mechanisms and courts having appropriate jurisdiction, subject to mandatory legal rights.
WaversClub may update these Terms. Where a material change requires renewed acceptance, WaversClub may require users to review and accept the updated version before continuing to use affected functionality. Previous acceptance records may be retained for legal, security, audit, and operational purposes.
